Open an article in your browser, in any language. On your phone, copy the text and paste it into the Parloquo app.
The Parloquo icon is at the bottom right of the page. Click it or press Alt+Shift+S, and Parloquo translates the article paragraph by paragraph and adapts it to your level, headings included. Ads, navigation and comments are left out. A second click shows the original again.
Click a paragraph, then a word. The word card shows the base form, translation, tense, person, the conjugation table and the meaning in this sentence.
Click a word in the adapted text. The word card shows the base form, pronunciation and translation, for verbs the tense, person and full conjugation, and what the word means in exactly this sentence.
Parloquo reads the text aloud and highlights the word being spoken. Speed from 0.5× to 2×.
Multiple choice, gap fills and open questions about exactly what you just read – for Spanish also with a focus such as the subjunctive or ser/estar.
Questions about the content are answered in the language you're learning, grammar questions in English.
“Save word” puts the word and its sentence into your vocabulary deck. You review it as in Anki, with four rating levels, as a flashcard, a gap sentence or a listening exercise. Export for Anki and as CSV.
Words from your deck are underlined in the adapted text. The word card shows when the next review is due.
In the Parloquo app you paste copied text. In Chrome on Android, a bookmark starts Parloquo right on the page you're reading. Your vocabulary deck, language and level belong to your account and are the same on your computer and your phone.
When you look up fewer words and get the exercises right, Parloquo suggests the next level.

Light and Pro can't be bought in your country yet. You can still use the trial, the dictionary, read aloud and your vocabulary deck.
Parloquo is in public beta: apps for more platforms are rolling out step by step. You can subscribe to Light or Pro at any time, even during the trial. After the 14 days you need one of them. The offline dictionary, read aloud and your vocabulary deck keep working without it. AI credits charge what the language model really costs: an article about 2, a word card far less.

Parloquo is open to everyone: you can try it for 14 days and subscribe to Light or Pro. We keep improving it, and the apps are rolling out step by step: the extension is coming to the Chrome Web Store and Firefox, and apps for Android and iPhone follow by the end of 2026. If something doesn't work, write to support@parloquo.app.
Every page or pasted text that Parloquo translates and adapts for you. If you change the level or open the article again, it doesn't count again.
With pages that contain longer running text: blogs, Wikipedia, recipes, forums, magazines and news. Parloquo leaves out ads, navigation and comments. For articles behind a paywall, Parloquo only sees what the page displays. On search engines, social networks, YouTube and webmail, Parloquo is hidden by default.
For translating and adapting, the text is sent to AI models: pages in another language are usually translated by Hy-MT2 by Tencent, and Claude by Anthropic adapts the text to your level. Parloquo stores your account, your level and your vocabulary deck. For your quota it also stores the addresses of the articles you have translated, but not their text. The Spanish dictionary runs on your device.
